The University of West Florida Japan House will present three demonstrations on the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, "Chado - The Way of Tea," this fall. Demonstrations will be held Oct. 9 and Nov. 13 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the UWF Japan House, Building 71.

Sessions are free and open to the public. Limited space is available. Reservations are requested no later than 5 p.m. one week prior to the tea ceremony date.

The demonstrations will allow participants to learn the basics of practicing Japanese tea ceremony. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and white socks, as the workshops will require sitting on the tatami floor.
