Sure to be the band's most amazing tour ever, KISS has announced that their "KISS Alive 35" 2009 North American tour, will arrive at the Pensacola Civic Center on October 19 from 7:30 to 11 p.m.

While celebrating 35 years of rocking the world like no other, KISS will treat their legions of fans to a set of some of rock's greatest hits, including "Rock and Roll All Nite," "I Was Made for Lovin' You," and "Detroit Rock City," as well as songs from the band's new album SONIC BOOM.

The tour stop is a special treat for Pensacola fans, considering the band opened the Pensacola Civic Center in 1985. "It's amazing that the venue is celebrating its 25th anniversary next year", says facility General Manager Cyndee Pennington, "we're thrilled to kick off the building's birthday with the same band that started it all 25 years ago!"

This incredible show will feature a new stage set, pyro effects that only the "hottest band in the world" could deliver, and all-new costumes. KISS ALIVE 35 North America also marks the first leg of the world's first fan-routed tour - in which more than 10,000 individual cities across Canada and the U.S. mounted their own unique campaigns to bring KISS to their towns.

Buckcherry will be main support on all of the upcoming U.S. and Canadian dates.

SONIC BOOM — KISS' highly-anticipated album, and its first new material in 11 years — will be released exclusively at Walmart, Walmart.com and Sam's Club retail locations beginning October 6.

Produced by the band's Paul Stanley in Los Angeles, the album is the centerpiece of a three-disc set that also features a completely re-recorded greatest hits CD as well as a live DVD shot in Argentina during the b a n d ' s recent, record- breaking KISS ALIVE 35 South American tour.
