The Greater Gulfcoast Arts Festival returns to Seville Square
The artists participating in the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival will compete for a total of $25,000 in prize money in categories including ceramics, drawingfiber/leather,glass, jewelry, mixed media, oil/ acrylic, photography, printmaking/graphics, sculpture, watercolor and wood.
The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is one of the most highly regarded and popular arts festivals in America. The Festival, a three-day, juried art show, comes to Pensacola’s historic Seville Square the first weekend in November.
This year, the festival will run from Nov. 6-8. Festival hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The Children’s Festival hours are Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Each year, it draws more than 200 of the nation’s best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, graphic artists, craftsmen, mixed-media artists and others who have been gifted with the ability to turn inspiration into art.
This family oriented festival is ranked in the top 50 Fine Art Shows in the nation by Sunshine
Artist Magazine.

Be delighted by demonstrations of traditional skills in the Heritage Arts area. A favorite of festivalgoers, The Heritage Arts area provides an authentic setting for craftspeople from around the country to demonstrate such arts as blacksmithing, engraving, spinning, weaving and other skills.
The Festival features great music on the Main Stage, dance on the Parrish Performing Arts Stage, and authentic craftspeople in the Heritage Arts area. Live musicians will hit the right notes from the Main Stage with sounds ranging from of bluegrass, Cajun and blues to instrumental guitar. The Parrish Dance Stage will showcase dance schools, performing companies, community groups, and area folk groups.
The Children’s Arts Festival features numerous free, hands-on artistic opportunities for kids. The Student Art Show showcases the talents of school students in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties
Food and beverages are available from a variety of vendors, including some of Pensacola’s bestknown restaurants and chefs.
