Milton Christmas Parade,
6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5
Rolling out of King Middle School at 6:30 p.m. and disbanding to the East/West at Elmira. The theme is: A Christmas Tradition.
Pensacola Beach Lighted Boat Parade, 7 pm Friday, Dec. 11 From the Marina to Flounder's. The sparkling spectacle of decorated vessels delights those watching from the shore or a waterfront Beach business. Children are given light sticks to illuminate the Flounder's landing site. Dozens of captains compete for prizes as the nautical parade delivers Santa Claus officially to the Island. Santa's Workshop will host children of all ages to make their Christmas requests to Santa.
Gulf Breeze Holiday Parade Saturday, Dec. 12, 10:00AM The 2009 parade theme is: "Rockin' Around the Holiday!" The route will begin on Shoreline Drive behind Gulf Breeze High School, continue past City Hall, the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center and continue along Shoreline making a right turn on McLane Road, ending at Fairpoint Drive. Santa Fest, a “North Pole Market,” featuring specialty Gulf Breeze retail businesses will be held immediately following in the parking lot in front of Gulf Breeze High School. The Destin Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 12, 10:00 a.m. The theme this year is "Christmas Movies." The parade travels down US Hwy 98 from east to west. It starts at Main Street and ends at Stahlman Ave. The Destin Holiday on the Harbor Boat Parade Sunday night, Dec. 13, 6:00 p.m. Along the Destin Harbor. Surfing Santa Beach Parade December 13, 2 p.m. - Via de Luna Delightfully decorated floats wind their way down the Island's main street sharing holiday joy, candy and trinkets. Santa oversees the parade from high atop a bright red fire engine which delivers him to the Gulfside Pavilion to talk to the children.
Chumuckla Redneck Christmas Parade & Festival Dec. 13, 2 p.m. Prizes will be presented in several categories. Festival begins Dec. 12 at 10:30 a.m. with live music, a car show, food and craft vendors, and redneck games. The parade concludes the festival at 2:00 p.m. Dec. 13.
