PLT opens Studio 400 season with ‘Short Attention Span Theatre’

Pensacola Little Theatre's Studio 400 season continues in February with six short plays about the ups and downs of the modern relationship.

"Short Attention Span Theatre" is a collection of one-act plays about relationships and romance submitted by authors across the country. All of the plays this year are original and unpublished and for many, this is their world premiere performance.

Directing for "Short Attention Span Theatre" this year are Jessica Wade Abston, Samantha Holsworth and Eric VanderVort. The cast includes Barbara Jacobs, Brooke Martin, Paula Petsel, Scott Wade, Ken Armitage, Shanna Petsel, April Sargent, Cory Hinsch, Renee Jordan, David Blanton, Jordan Rinaldi, Brandon Denson, Kyra Trask and Nicole Dickson.

"Short Attention Span Theatre" is playing for two weekends:

 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, February 11- 13, at 7:30 p.m.

 Friday and Saturday, February 19-20, at 7:30 p.m.

 Sunday, February 21, at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are $14 for café seating and $10 for general admission and may be purchased at the Box Office or by phone at 850-432-2042. The Box Office is open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and one hour prior to curtain on performance dates.

Other upcoming productions include the musical hit "Victor/Victoria," opening on March 5, and the perennial favorite "Little Shop of Horrors," opening on June 11.
