Hot Glass and Cold Brew at Belmont Arts

The Belmont Arts and Cultural Center (BACC) hosts the popular Hot Glass Cold Brew Fundraiser many times throughout the year.

From 5 to 9 p.m., participants can make a suggested donation of $25 for non-members and $20 for members to receive a hand-blown, souvenir glass and complimentary* beverages throughout the evening. Hot Glass Cold Brew also features glass and pottery sales. Tuesday Night Jam Sessions benefit the Belmont Youth Band and other center programs.

A variety of educational programs, including Kids Pottery Workshops; Glass Blowing; Glass Bead Making; Pottery on the Wheel; and group activities are offered. Studio and facility rental is also available.

From 7 to 9:30 p.m. each Tuesday night, local musicians are encouraged to attend jam sessions to showcase and share their talent with other local musicians.

Since 1999 the Center has been a part of a revitalization effort to transform the Belmont-Devilliers community into a thriving artistic, commercial and residential area.

A nonprofit center dedicated to excellence, experimentation and education in the visual, performing and literary arts, BACC is also a working studio center for artists. For more information, contact 429-1222 or visit www.belmontartscenter. com.
