Dinner theater for missions at GBUMC

Dinner and a movie? Even on a tight budget that sounds wonderful! The United Methodist Women of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church will do you one better – a Dinner Theatre and Silent Auction on March 19 & 20 in the Fellowship Hall at 75 Fairpoint Drive. Doors open at 6 pm so you can browse the silent auction items before dinner is served at 7 pm.

After dessert, a one-act comedy play, “Patio,” will begin. Set in the backyard of a middle-class Texas home, it features two sisters preparing a going-away party for the older sister, Jewel, a beautician who is bored with small town life, headed off to hopefully find success in the big city. As the two bustle about, their conversation reveals progressively more and more of their differences and dreams--and of the emptiness which has pervaded both their lives.

Proceeds go to local and international missions. Tickets are $20 per person. Call 932-3594 for details.
