Fiesta of Five Flags hosts crawfish festival

The Pensacola Crawfish Festival celebrates the Cajun influence in our community, and the 2010 event will be held April 30 - May 2 on the waterfront in Bartram Park in downtown Pensacola. This event is one of the largest crawfish boils in the state!

Don't leave your appetite at home because the Pensacola Crawfish Festival brings a little of the Louisiana bayou to Pensacola Bay. You'll find a wide range of Cajun fare such as crawfish poboys, crawfish pies, and of course, boiled crawfish, as well as traditional hot dogs, hamburgers and other local favorites.

Throughout the three-day festival you'll enjoy some great music straight from the bayous of Louisiana on the Stoli Entertainment Stage.

The Stoli Entertainment Stage will be the site of the 5th Annual Cat Country 98.7 Crawfish Eating Contest. Contestants may participate in the kids, adults, and CrawDADDY divisions. Contestants compete for prizes, and it is harder than it looks to eat your way to victory.

Saturday and Sunday children will find plenty to do in the family area. Saturday our family area is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday the family area is open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Plenty of crafts and games and you won't want to miss the famous "NASCRAW" crawfish races. They're fun for the whole family.

Daily admission to the 2010 Pensacola Crawfish Festival is $5 for adults, with free admission to children under 12. A weekend pass for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is available for $10. Join us for lunch on Friday and get in FREE before 3 p.m.
