Pensacola’s Loblolly Theatre presents Yolanda Reed’s "Women Walk Through it as if it Wasn't There.”

Liberty in North Korea
(LiNK) – Summer Tour
On August 6 at 7 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Church of Pensacola is hosting Liberty in North Korea (LiNK). LiNK will show a screening the National Geographic documentary, Inside North Korea, plus conduct a Q & A regarding LiNK's involvement in aiding the humanitarian and refugee crisis in North Korea. Public stargazing
with the EAAA
The Escambia Amateur Astronomers Association will aim their telescopes upward at the Battery Worth Picnic Area of Fort Pickens for free public stargazing. The event will run from sunset to 10 p.m., weather permitting. See story on page 24 to learn more about objects in the August sky.

Festival and 5k Run

Summer Ghost Tours
Join the Pensacola Historical Society for summer ghost tours through historic downtown Pensacola, held one weekend each month during the summer. Come hear the haunted stories of Thomas Moristo, a crowd favorite, who likes to make appearances in his upstairs window. August tours are Friday and Saturday, August 6-7.
Tours run every 30 minutes between 7 and 8:30 p.m. and last one hour. There are two tour routes available: the Adults Only Redlight Tour includes the ghosts of the old bars and brothels, and the Family Friendly Seville Tour which takes you through the Seville Square area.

Light of the Moon Tours
at Pensacola Lighthouse
On August 20-21, from 8- 10:30 p.m., watch the moon- light dance across the waters of Pensacola Bay from the top of the beautiful Pensacola Lighthouse! This is a very unique opportunity to climb the Lighthouse after dark and see the magnificent Fresnel lens in operation, and also listen to ghostly tales from the long history of the Lighthouse. Sandestin Triathlon
The 24th Annual Sandestin Triathlon (formerly the Elephant Walk Triathlon) will lure 700 participants for a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin's beach and Bayside community. A portion of the proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.

Driving opens at PMA
