‘Alice in wonderland’

The director who took you to Never Never Land with Peter Pan creates another

This is not Tim Burton’s or Disney’s version but instead is true in spirit to the original stories created 143 years ago by Rev. Charles Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll) to entertain the real Alice Liddell and her sisters. It is a world full of zany characters, upside-down logic and the magic that Dr. Lott is famous for bringing to the PLT stage.

The Treehouse Theatre hosts Alice in Wonderland, August 6-8 and 13-15; Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:30pm. Adults $20-$18-$16-$10 / children under 12 admitted for half price; 400 S. Jefferson St., downtown Pensacola

Following the August 8 performance of Alice in Wonderland, children can meet the cast at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Finger foods, cookies, cake and lemonade will be served, and characters from the show will be passing out goodies that the children can take home. Tickets are $8 per person. Availability is limited so advance reservations are recommended.

New Subscribers to the Treehouse Series can receive FREE tickets to Alice in Wonderland. For every 2010-2011 Treehouse Series Subscription purchased, the subscriber will receive a bonus ticket to Alice in Wonderland. The three shows included in PLT’s 2010-2011 Treehouse Series are Madeline’s Christmas, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and the musical Willy Wonka.
