Free summer concerts continue in August

The Quietwater Shell, located on the Portofino Boardwalk on Pensacola Beach, hosts Sounds of Summer. A relaxing free concert series that takes place each Friday-Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Bands on the Beach

Things are rocking on Pensacola Beach with the popular outdoor summer concert series, Bands on the Beach. Located in the beautiful Gulfside Pavilion overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, this series offers a free concert every Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m.

The August lineup includes: Dr. Breeze (August 3); On the Beach (August 10); Beulah Land South Band (August 17); Petty Cash (August 24); and Mass Konfuzion (August 31).

Evenings in Olde Seville Square

Evenings in Olde Seville Square has Downtown Pensacola rockin’ from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday through August 19. This month’s line-up is full of local favorites, with a few traveling acts thrown in the mix.

Performers for August include: Mass Konfuzion (August 5); John Wooten & KAISO! Caribbean Band (August 12); and Clark & Company (August 19).

Sounds of Summer

The Santa Rosa Island Authority presents “Sounds of Summer,” a summer concert series on Pensacola Beach that will keep your hips swaying and your fingers snapping from 6-8 p.m. most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The August lineup includes: Timberhawk (August 6-7); Jim Andrews and Lisa Zanghi (August 8); On the Beach (August 13-16); The Smart Brothers (August 20-22); Kee Creek Band (August 27-28); and Reddog and Friends (August 29).

Thursday Evenings in Navarre Park

Every Thursday from 6-8 p.m., take your family and/or friends to Navarre Park, at the foot of the Navarre Bridge, for live music, food, and a chance to sit back and relax with great sounds and a beautiful sunset. This free weekly concert series is hosted by the Navarre Chamber.

Wednesday Night Concert Series at Village of Baytowne

Every Wednesday night, from 7-9 p.m., at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, enjoy the continuation of the Wednesday Night Concert Series through the month of August.

The list of August artists includes: Ben Deignan (August 4); Roy Schneider Duo (August 11); Grady Champion (August 18); and The Shrimpboat Cowboys (August 25).
