Chocolate Pudding Cake

Cake ingredients:

¾ cup sugar

1 cup flour

¼ teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 Tablespoons cocoa

½ cup milk

3 Tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Topping ingredients:

½ cup sugar

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup cocoa

1 1/2 cups water

Sift sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa together in a mixing bowl. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Spread batter in a pan.

Stir together both topping sugars and cocoa and sprinkle over the batter. Pour water over the cake with topping and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm or cool, with or without ice cream.
