It’s cool. It’s unique. It’s safe. It’s kid friendly. It’s free.

Children are invited to enjoy the most recent addition to family friendly activities in Gulf Breeze at the new splash pad that opens in June. Access will be available to the public, free of charge, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily throughout the summer months.

The new feature, located next to both Gulf Breeze Community Center and the Kids Park on Shoreline Drive, is a play-at-your-ownrisk site, with parents or caregivers expected to supervise children they bring to the splash pad.

A maximum of 45 children can enjoy the multiple spray sites at a time, and the area will be constantly drained of standing water, so there is no drowning risk. The system is operated by means of push button controls that the children can operate to activate the various water features so that water is conserved.

The splash pad is not available for reserved usage but is open to all children who wish to enjoy it, within the limits of space available at any one time.
